Reliability

Built for the day a network has a bad day.

Publishing to four networks means four ways for something to go wrong. Xenon Social expects that and handles it.

  • Each destination is published and tracked on its own, so a failure on one network never blocks the others.
  • Temporary errors such as rate limits and outages are retried automatically with growing delays.
  • When a network doesn't answer in time, Xenon Social checks whether the post went live before trying again, so you don't get duplicates.
  • Only one publish runs at a time per account, so a retry and a scheduled post never collide.
  • When an account’s access expires or is revoked, you’re told to reconnect it, and nothing is silently dropped.

Connecting a brand account is a big deal. Here’s how we look after it.

  • Official sign-in

    You approve access on the network's own screen; we never see passwords.

  • Encrypted tokens

    Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never sent to your browser.

  • Isolated workspaces

    Database row-level security keeps each workspace's data separate.

  • Revoke any time

    Disconnect in Xenon Social or remove access in the network's settings.

FAQ

Publishing questions.

Do I need a business account on Instagram?
Yes. Instagram only allows publishing through its API for professional accounts (Business or Creator). Switching is free in the Instagram app and keeps your followers and posts.
Can I post Reels and carousels?
Yes. Instagram videos are published as Reels, and Instagram carousels can mix up to 10 photos and videos. Threads carousels can hold up to 20 items.
How far ahead can I schedule?
Up to a year ahead, and as soon as a minute from now. Or publish immediately.
What if I schedule in one time zone and my team works in another?
Every workspace has its own time zone, and each post remembers the zone it was scheduled in, so 9:30 AM in London stays 9:30 AM in London, including across daylight-saving changes.
Can I see what was published and where?
Every destination shows its status, the time it went live and a link to the post on the network. If something failed, you'll see why and every attempt that was made.
